School Recycling Programs

How it Works

Nexcycle pays for all your recycled aluminum and plastic bottles. The collection of materials are done upon school or organization's request.

  • Select one week each month for Recycling week.
  • Flyers & Bags go out Friday before “Recycling Week” alerting students/parents to fill the bags with aluminum cans & plastic bottles.
  • For the entire week each student in every participating class will bring their CRV (California Redemption Value) in bags. Bags will be labeled with teacher name and classroom number.
  • Students will drop off their bags of material at designated area.
  • Nexcycle will pick-up the material on that Friday or Monday upon school request. Take back material weight the material and announce the winner and mail the school their check.
  • The class that recycled the most wins and is the “Recycling Champion” for the next 4 weeks.
  • The class is presented with a school-tailored “Recycling Champions” flag that hangs in the classroom and a pizza party.
